Victoria Island and Myrtle Forest

Victoria Island
Leaving from the city center by bus or by car, you can head for Puerto Pañuelo on km. 25 of Bustillo Avenue. After paying for the entrance ticket to the national park ($12), you will get on board and sail up to Quetrihué Peninsula, where the boat stops and you can go for a walk along a wooden trail for about 50 minutes through a magic forest of cinnamon-colored trees: the myrtles.
Once the walk is over, you will get on board again and sail up to Victoria Island, from where you will be able to go for lovely and peaceful walks to the center of the island along trails surrounded by lush forests, appreciating the abundant native species. You can also take the chair-lift up Bella Vista Mountain and get majestic views of the surrounding areas from the so-called Maravilla Balcony. The trail back to the pier offers stunning views as well. Another option is to visit Playa del Toro or to see rupestrian paintings.
