Scuba-diving in Bariloche in Nahuel Huapi Lake

Scuba-diving may be practised in Bariloche in Nahuel Huapi Lake near Gallinas Island or Victoria Island (where you can dive in a shipwreck), in Traful Lake (where you can have a view of a submerged forest), in Moreno Lake, in La Angostura Creek (at the junction of Moreno and Nahuel Huapi Lakes) and in Limay River.

Scuba diving is defined as the descent to clear waters with a neoprene wetsuit and tanks of compressed air. A scuba diving tour may last half  or a whole day.

All instructors and Dive Masters are authorizede by PADI and Prefectura Naval Argentina. they work under certain safety regulations, following the standards and procedures of both institutions.

Scuba diving can be practised by people older than 10 whose bodies are well-built for their age.

Important information: it is not advisable to fly, go skiing or drive in places situated at more than 900 meters above sea level 12 hours before having gone scuba diving for the  last time.
