Rafting in Bariloche, in Patagonian Mountains
Going down the rivers is a recreative and sportive activity that consists in letting yourself be slid down by the force of the current, sailing on a raft, canoe or kayak.
Rafting is usually practised in very rough rivers with lots of turbulence, the so-called "white waters", due to the white color of the foam made by the turbulence. Some people also call them "the rapids" .
The average temperature of the rivers of our region is between 7 and 10 degrees. For that reason, neoprene wetsuits and helmets are required; in this way, you will be able to enjoy such an exciting experience in a comfortable and safe way.
Waterproof shirts, lifejackets and paddles are always provided by the tour operator. We recommend to carry a bathing suit, shorts, a T-shirt, sport shoes, a towel, an extra change of clothes and an extra pair of shoes.
